Arslanian & Associates community involvement centers on Hollywood and its arts through involvement with the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and the Hollywood Arts Council. The firm was instrumental for creating the Council's "Discover Hollywood: A Festival of the Arts" campaign that included events, outdoor billboards and a publication. In 1994, Discover Hollywood Magazine was spun off from the Hollywood Arts Council to the non-for-profit, Hollywood Is A Festival, Inc. and the same year Arslanian & Associates was contracted by the Los Angeles Community Redevelopment Agency to write the Tourism Marketing Plan for Hollywood. Also that year, Oscar was named to the California Tourism Hall of Fame for his work promoting Hollywood. The firm acquired Discover Hollywood in 2006, expanded it to a quarterly and today it continues to be the only source of information about Hollywood, the place. It is the Heartbeat of Hollywood.
