At the age of 13 Peggy signed with RCA. The label dubbed her "Little Peggy March" and in 1963, at the age of 15, her recording of "I Will Follow Him" went to #1. The million selling single made her the youngest female to have a number one record, an accomplishment that still holds.

"I Will Follow Him" also went to #1 in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Japan, and Scandinavia.

Her subsequent singles "I Wish I Were a Princess" and "Hello Heartache, Goodbye Love" made the Top 30 in the United States, with the latter also reaching #29 on the UK Singles Chart. She recorded 18 singles and several albums for RCA Victor between 1964 and 1971.

Internationally, Peggy made a strong presence in the European and Asian music markets and moved to Germany in 1969. Her commercial success in Germany has continued to today. She is a major star in the country and tours there for two months every year.

Peggy continues to record and tour. Her most recent album is "Always and Forever".
