Following solid careers in consumer products, marketing, business management, community affairs and the entertainment industry, Oscar and Nyla Arslanian formed Arslanian and Associates, Inc., a public relations and entertainment marketing firm in 1980 establishing their office in the heart of Hollywood in the historic Crossroads of The World Complex. Representing such clients as Rick Nelson, America, Bob Welsh, Firesign Theatre, The Mamas and The Papas, Cross Pen and Dole Foods, the firm established its entertainment industry credentials. Noteworthy for being at the forefront of the "oldies" nostalgia movement, the firm has produced concerts at venues throughout the United States.
The firm continues to be involved with the careers of entertainers Fabian, Chris Montez, Kathy Young, Johnny Tillotson, Brian Hyland, Dennis Tufano, Merrilee Rush,and Peggy March who perform throughout the world. In 2001, Fabian was awarded a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame and a documentary film on the life of Chris Montez is currently underway.
After supporting efforts to promote Hollywood, actively engaging with the tourism industry, in 2009, Arslanian & Associates acquired the Discover Hollywood Magazine a publication about the unique culture and lore of Hollywood the place.
